After completing a Higher Business degree, in Logistics, Organization, Business development and finance, Benn attended Lyngby Business Colleges’ Marketing Economist program.
 
During these studies, Benn was approached by a Danish shipping company, who offered him trainee employment in the company.
 
This led to a 2-Years shipping education, attending Esbjerg Shipping School along with several other courses such as an education in Trading of Dangerous Goods class 1 and 7 + a special course in INF (Irradiated Nuclear Fuel).
 
Ending his 2-Years of education, Benn was employed, as sole operator in the company, concerning semi-line trade with IMO class 1, military cargoes and IMO class 7 (INF 1+2 cargoes), between the Continent and the Far East.
 
Following this Benn was employed by another Danish operator, with responsibility for, 6 coasters in the 6.000 tons segment, with own equipment and gear.
 
This time in the business segment was worldwide tramp.
 
Benn’s role in DUPI Copenhagen is to add value for the costumers and safeguard that the company maintains a high level of service at all times.
